Cleanse the hair with Quantum Clarifying Shampoo
for best results. |

Using two bender rods, secure one end with a vinyl elastic
band. |

Take a deep, off-centered zigzag parting across the top
of the head from the front to the back. (Figure a) |

Take a 2” vertical section, pull the hair down an
inch above the ear and place the “intersection”
of the bender rod by the parietal ridge. Start weaving the
hair back and forth between the two benders making a figure
“8”, leaving the last inch free.

Place the last inch in an end-wrap and wind on a gray traditional
rod. Use the elastic of the gray rod to secure the bender
rod in place. (Figure c) |

Take another 2” section on the same side of the head
and repeat steps 4 & 5. (Figure d) |

Repeat steps 4,5 & 6 on the other side of the head.

Starting at the top of the crown, take a 2” vertical
pie shaped section to the nape and continue pattern described
in steps 4 & 5, for a total of 4 sections in the back
of the head. (Figure f) |

Process according to the directions in the Quantum perm of choice appropriate to the hair type. |
